How We Are Adapting To Continue To Service Our Clients During The COVID-19 Outbreak

Hi everyone,

Firstly, Jay and I hope that you and your loved ones are well. This is an incredibly difficult and stressful time for most Americans. Please do take care of your physical safety by staying at home, social distancing, eating well and doing a bit of exercise. Keep mentally healthy by reaching out to loved ones virtually, turning off the news, indulging in a hobby that your normally don’t have time for, and realizing that it is OK to feel scared, upset, angry or whatever you are feeling. We are all in this together.

As far as real estate is concerned, we understand that due to a person’s unique circumstance, they may not be able to wait to buy or sell a home until we are through the pandemic. We want to be clear that we are still open for business. However, the health and safety of all simply cannot be compromised.

As we navigate through the challenges caused by the COVID-19 situation, we want you to know that we remain fully committed to the safety of our clients, other agent’s clients, and the community as a whole. We are adapting and adjusting our business model to be able to better serve you during this time, instituting new protocol and implementing new technology. Our new interactive 360 walk through tours are beneficial to our sellers as well as our buyers, as they will allow clients to virtually visit the home in a way that is impossible with static photos, or even a video tour—before scheduling an in person showing. Strict new showing standards vetting potential buyers even more thoroughly have been adopted to further protect both buyers and sellers. In lieu of traditional open houses, we will now host our listings open online. We have developed fully online selling and buying presentations that outline our services, we and can visit with you via video conference to discuss your buying and selling needs before ever meeting in person. You need not attend a home inspection—we can live stream the wrap-up to you. Interestingly enough, there have been times in the past when we have assisted clients in a home sale or home purchase, completely virtually as the client was out of state or country. Therefore, we have it down pat. Our goal is to assist you with your buying and selling needs while limiting your exposure to others as much as possible, without sacrificing marketing or the personal human attention that you and your property deserve.

Remember, here at Long Realty, we have been serving Southern Arizonans and their real estate needs for 94 years. During this time there have been many challenges that faced our country and impacted all of us.  Among them— the Great Depression, multiple recessions, World War II, the polio epidemic in the early 1950’s, 9-11 and more. We will get through this—together.

We are being proactive to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of the wonderful community that we have be thrilled to serve for over a decade, and we will continue to modify as the situation unfolds.
